            Second Life is an internet-based virtual world launched by Linden Research in 2003. The game promises its users a second life. What you can do in this created artificial world is limited only by your imagination. With its software open to users, it is outside the game standards as a category. 

            In Second Life, the player starts the game by creating an avatar for himself. S/he can decide all kinds of features of the avatar he will create. For example, everything like hair color, height, weight, profession, etc. can be changed and adjusted depending on the user's request. Another feature of the game is that it can be played online. In the time period called Prime Time, the number of online players of the game is estimated to be 65,000. Just like in real life, the person can make friends in the game and have a social environment thanks to online chat. At the same time, all kinds of fiction, from buying real estate to designing and university education, were realized in the Second Life environment.

            Another advantage of the game is that you can turn the money you earn in the virtual world into reality, thanks to the avatar you have. Second life, which has created its own economy, uses Linden Dollar (L$) as its currency. 1 US dollar is calculated as .262 Linden (game currency). You can convert every penny you earn in Linden dollars to US dollars at the exchange office here and transfer it to your real-life bank account via PayPal. There are those who take advantage of this feature of Second Life and even join here just to earn money.

Similarly, teachers can purchase an account to create online classes and track student attendance.

In this post we are going to learn Flipgrid.                Flipgrid is a response system that allows students to explain or demonstrate their learning using video. These replies are uploaded under the topic and placed in a grid so they can be easily viewed, accessed, and commented on by the teacher or other students.                Using the Flipgrid environment, teachers can easily gather information about their students' understanding and progress. Teachers also have the opportunity to listen to all of their students – even those who are shy or afraid to speak in class because of insecurity.                Flipgrid students create and strengthen social learning communities as they discuss their ideas and experiences with their peers. Flipgrid strengthens the student voice and supports the development of global empathy as students immerse themselves in each other's learning processes and perspectives.
